The Afterglow app

Afterglow stores your imported tracks, artwork, project details, and timed notes on your device. Waveform analysis runs on your device. Afterglow has no account system or cloud library sync.

Afterglow does not upload your tracks or notes to its developer. It does not include advertising or an analytics service. The app contacts Expo's update service to check for and download compatible app updates. Those requests include technical information needed to select an update and your network address.

The app requests access to files or artwork that you choose through the system picker. It does not record from your microphone or use your camera.

When you export a backup, you choose where to save or share it. The ZIP contains your tracks, artwork, and notes without password protection. The destination you choose has its own privacy practices. Recovery exports contain saved library metadata and notes.

You can delete tracks, notes, and projects within the app. Previous metadata copies used for recovery can retain earlier notes. Removing the app removes its local data. Copies in device backups or destinations you selected are managed through those services. Offloading an app can retain its data.

If you contact support, include only the information you want to share. Apple may make crash reports and TestFlight feedback available according to your device and testing settings.

This site does not add advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies.

Cloudflare hosts the site and processes connection information, including IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect it. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Contacting support

Email sent to support@useafterglow.app is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Gmail inbox. Your address, message, and attachments are processed by those providers and used to respond to you. See Google's privacy policy.

For a privacy question or a request about information you sent to support, email the same address. Do not send audio or personal information you do not want to share.
